Why a QR and not just a note?
A note fades and has no room. The QR opens the exact part number, every previous change, the next due date and a one-tap “I replaced it” — and anyone in the house can scan it. It still costs nothing but paper.
Do old stickers update?
Each QR is a fixed snapshot. Log a replacement to create a new QR with the previous care entries, then cover the old sticker. Nothing updates remotely.
Where is my information saved?
In the QR link and, optionally, My tags in this browser. No account or tag database. Anyone with your link can read the care details. Never include private information. A photo fingerprint stays a fingerprint: the original photo is never uploaded.
Does it include the manual?
The scan page offers a search for the manual using your item and part number. It does not attach, host or guarantee the correct document.
How does StayTag earn money?
You can choose an optional eBay replacement link. Eligible purchases may earn us a commission, at no extra cost to you. Businesses can order custom label packs and seller packaging pilots from Nytto Labs, priced and agreed by email before any work. There is also voluntary support; it buys no extra features.
